How can I see what posts you did for me?

Our team will send you monthly reports outlining the posts for the following month for your review. However, the real magic happens in the Social Marketing dashboard, where you can explore both previous and upcoming posts under ‘Scheduled Posts.’ This dynamic tool offers a sleek and intuitive interface that makes managing your social content not just efficient, but truly engaging and easy to manage!

Do you have a process to request specific topics or send images to be inlcluded in our social media posts?

Here are the steps, incorporating the content suggestions and images you provided:

  • Share your ideas: We encourage you to send any content suggestions to our Marketing Strategists by the 10th of each month. This could include topics you want to cover, visuals you like, or specific messages you’d like to share.
  • We’ll craft your posts: Our team will then create engaging posts based on your input and your brand’s overall social media goals.
  • Review and approve: Five business days before your first post is scheduled to go live, we’ll send you the draft posts for your approval. You’ll have the chance to review the content and make any necessary changes.
  • Publish as planned: If we don’t hear back from you within 5 business days, we’ll proceed with publishing the posts as planned. This ensures you get consistent and high-quality content while maintaining the opportunity to provide input. We’ll Provide Expert Social Media Content, Delivered Weekly.

This process ensures you get the best possible social media content while still having the chance to review and provide input.

To ensure your social media posts are on-point, we encourage you to send any content suggestions to our Marketing Strategists by the 10th of each month. We’ll then craft your posts based on your input and send them to you for approval 5 business days before your first post is scheduled to go live.

If we don’t hear back from you within those 5 business days, we’ll go ahead and publish the posts as planned. This way, you’ll get the best possible content while still having the chance to review and provide input.

Can we post the same content on multiple social platforms?

We sure can! With the Extended Reach add-on, we’ll cross-post your content to multiple channels on your behalf. We’ll make only slight adjustments to the content to ensure it adheres to each platform’s posting requirements

If I do not like one of my posts, am I able to delete it?

You can edit or delete any scheduled social media posts directly within your Social Marketing dashboard. From there, you have the ability to remove any posts you wish. You also have the option to create posts. Whether you prefer a DIY approach or utilize our managed services, you’re in complete control of your social media presence.

Can I delete a posts after the post is live?

If you delete a post from Social Marketing, in most instances, it will be deleted from the social platform as well:

  • Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Google Business Profile – If you delete it in the Social Marketing App, the post(s) will be deleted on the source pages as well.
  • Instagram – You are unable to delete an Instagram post from Social Marketing and will need to go to Instagram directly to remove the post. 
Can I request changes to my content?

While we aim to create high-quality content that aligns with your instructions, we understand that situations may arise where further adjustments are needed. We’re happy to make minor edits and tweaks to ensure your satisfaction. However, for significant revisions, we encourage you to share your feedback early in the process. This helps us avoid extensive rewrites and ensures we’re on the same page from the start.

To begin posting to your social media accounts through Social Marketing, you need to connect them first. For digital agencies, it is advisable to connect accounts while in an incognito or private browser session. This helps prevent social networks from automatically connecting to any active accounts you might be logged into.

Steps to Connect Your Accounts:

  • Access the Connect Settings:

    • Navigate to Social Marketing and select Settings > Connect Accounts.
  • Adding Social Accounts:

    • From the Connect Accounts page, click the “+” next to each social network you wish to connect.

Facebook:

  • Click the “+” icon to be redirected to Facebook’s login screen. Enter your Facebook admin credentials.
  • Ensure you’re logged in with the correct account that has Admin permissions. Use incognito mode to avoid login errors.
  • Make sure the account displayed next to “Continue” has Admin rights and click ‘Reconnect.’
  • When prompted, select ‘All Pages’ instead of just one to ensure proper API connection.
  • Click ‘Next’ and then ‘Save’ to complete the setup.

Google Business Profile:

  • Click ADD and sign in with your Google account. Allow the required permissions, then return to Social Marketing, choose the appropriate location, and click ADD to connect.

Instagram:

  • Ensure Instagram accounts are linked to a corresponding Facebook page. Accounts must be set to Business or Professional.
  • Select ADD, input your Facebook credentials, choose the relevant Facebook page, and click Add to connect your Instagram.

X:

  • Click the ADD button to access the X login page, authorize our app, and your X account will be linked.

LinkedIn:

  • Both Personal and Business LinkedIn pages can be connected, though Business pages are recommended.

Social Marketing allows multiple connections for most networks, except Instagram and Google Business Profile. Here are the account limits per network:

How many posts can I schedule in advance at once with Social Marketing Pro?

Social Marketing Express limits the number of bulk posts to 20 at a time. Social Marketing Pro users can, however, schedule an unlimited number of posts at once.

So, if you need advanced features and like to schedule more post, you may want to consider upgrading to the Pro version of Social Marketing.

What happens if I change my social media passwords?

If you change your social media account passwords, it will disconnect your accounts from Host.Support. The connection token, which is used to verify your access, will become invalid. To regain access, you will need to reconnect your accounts by following the reconnection process within Host.Support. This usually involves re-entering your login credentials for each connected platform.

What are the image requirements for Social Marketing?

Social Marketing can help you post to all of your most important social media accounts. These do, however, have specific requirements to post.

Image Requirements: Social Marketing supports the following image types: PNG, JPEG, or GIF.

Recommended size: If posting to multiple social networks, we recommend square images (1:1)

Facebook

  • Recommended Dimensions:
    • 1200 x 1200 px (square image | 1:1)
    • 1,080 x 1,350 px (vertical image | 16:9)
  • Minimum Dimensions: 600 x 315 px
  • Maximum File Size: 4 MB
  • Notes:
    • For PNG images, aim for less than 1MB as larger PNGs may appear pixelated.
    • Social Marketing supports 10 images per post.

Does Social Marketing show LinkedIn posts made outside the app?

If you connect LinkedIn to Social Marketing but happen to post directly on your LinkedIn account, our system will not pull in posts or provide post-performance metrics for those posts made outside the Social Marketing app.

For any posts made directly on LinkedIn or through any other third-party app, Social Marketing will not pull the posts into the app nor provide the post-performance data.

Only the posts created through Social Marketing will show up on the platform.

Can I remove a connected individual LinkedIn account in Social Marketing without removing the business page?

When you remove the personal LinkedIn account through which the business page was connected, the LinkedIn business page will automatically be removed as well.

To know which is the business page under Social Marketing > Settings > Connect Accounts > LinkedIn, it will show the word “Page,” and when you click on it, the URL will have the word “company” in it. The personal or individual account will show the word “Account” and its URL does not have the word “company” in it.

Meanwhile, you are able to remove the business page in Social Marketing, and it will not affect the connected personal account.
